The First Descendant Announces Crossplay and Cross-Progression Support
PlayStation, Xbox, and PC Players Can Team Up
The upcoming third-person shooter The First Descendant has confirmed that it will support crossplay and cross-progression features. This means that players on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC will be able to play together and transfer their progress across all platforms.
Cross-Platform Gameplay
The First Descendant's developers have stated that the game will fully support cross-platform multiplayer. This means that players on different platforms will be able to join the same matches and team up together. This will allow for a larger player base and more matchmaking options.
Cross-Progression
In addition to crossplay, The First Descendant will also support cross-progression. This means that players will be able to transfer their progress, including character data and unlocks, between all platforms they play on. This will allow players to seamlessly switch between devices without losing any of their hard-earned progress.
The First Descendant is set to launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC later this year. The crossplay and cross-progression features will be available at launch.
