Benjamin Ben Reilly, also known as the Scarlet Spider, is a genetic clone of the superhero Spider-Man (Peter Parker). Created by the insane Professor Miles Warren, the Scarlet Spider was originally intended as a weapon to destroy Spider-Man.

Earth-616 Scarlet Spider

The Scarlet Spider of Earth-616 is the fourth of five clones created by the Jackal and is also known as Spider-Man, Spider-Carnage, the Jackal, and Chasm. Initially, he believed himself to be the real Peter Parker, but later discovered his true nature.

Other Scarlet Spiders

The Scarlet Spider alias has also been used by other characters in the Marvel Comics universe, including Kaine Parker (the first clone) and Joseph "Joey" Wade.
